Empire Maker has been retired and will enter stud in 2004 for a fee of $100,000. Empire Maker (Unbridled out of Toussaud) won the 2003 Belmont Stakes (Gr.1). A son of Unbridled, he is the fourth Grade 1 winner produced by 2002 Broodmare of the Year Toussaud.

Sightseek triumphed by an impressive five lengths over a sloppy track at Belmont Park in the Gr.1 Ogden Phipps Handicap. A daughter of Distant View out of the Nureyev mare Viviana, Sightseek won her second Grade 1 race, following her victory in the Humana Distaff Handicap at Churchill Downs on May 3.
