Juddmonte features in Great British Racing International series

We are delighted that Banstead Manor Stud has been featured in the first episode of Great British Racing International’s (GBRI) new series, ‘Be A Part Of It: Breeding in Britain’.

The series showcases Britain’s world-leading thoroughbred breeding operations underpinned by a thriving stallion market with the aim of encouraging future international investment into British breeding. In the first episode, GBRI visits Simon Mockridge, General Manager UK, to discuss its origins and some of Juddmonte’s current leading stallions: KINGMAN (GB) and FRANKEL (GB), who is poised to win his second Champion Sire title in the last three years having sired 11 Group 1 winners in 2023, and the newest addition to the roster, the Gr.1 Dewhurst and 2000 Guineas-winning son of Frankel, CHALDEAN (GB).

One episode was released per day via the GBRI social media channels from Monday 20th November and can also be found on GBRI’s website by visiting:

Douglas Erskine Crum, Chief Executive of Juddmonte, commented:

Juddmonte is delighted to be a part of this series and fully supports its aim to showcase the attractiveness of the UK as a headquarters for world-leading breeders. The quality of the horses bred in the UK speaks for itself, with 21 British horses winning 26 Group 1 races in five countries so far this year. We are committed to supporting the future and health of the industry and welcome this new series.
