U.S. STUD FEES REMAIN GOOD VALUE

Juddmonte is delighted to report that the stud fees for the U.S. stallions have been set for 2013 and remain a reasonable investment with their two U.S. representatives standing for the following amounts:

MIZZEN MAST: $15,000 live foal, due November 1st of year bred

FIRST DEFENCE: $7,500 live foal, due November 1st of year bred

With a phenomenal showing at the Breeders' Cup for MIZZEN MAST by his two outstanding winners FLOTILLA (winner of the Juvenile Fillies Turf Gr.1) and MIZDIRECTION (winner of the Turf Sprint Gr.1), $15,000 remains very good value for this outcross sire.  He continues to consistently throw stakes winners and is a reliable source of precocity and durability with a career at stud boasting stakes winners in 5 different countries on all surfaces.

FIRST DEFENCE, responsible for a top Group stakes winning and record setting 2 year old in his first crop, namely DUNDONNELL, has promising individuals in the wings and hopes are high for this son of Gr.1 winning sprinter HONEST LADY, a half sister to sire sensations EMPIRE MAKER and CHESTER HOUSE.  Yearlings in 2012 sold for as much as $200,000.
