Henry Allingham became the latest first-crop three-year-old winner for THREE VALLEYS yesterday (11th June) when breaking his maiden with a comfortable four-length victory.
The smart looking gelding is trained by Roger Varian on behalf of his owners R Baines, J Collins and N Horsfall, and was bred by Red House Stud. Assistant trainer David Eustace told the Racing Post: “Henry Allingham is a half-brother to Harry Patch, who kept on improving, and hopefully he will do the same. Neil (Callan) said he showed plenty of speed, but was still green and he ought to get a mile.”
