The John Gosden-trained Fallen For You won the Coronation Stakes Gr.1 in impressive fashion on the fourth day of Royal Ascot (22nd June), becoming the second winner of the day and the ninth individual Gr.1 winner for her sire DANSILI.

The filly beat a high-class field of 11 others – including the winners of this year’s English and Irish 2000 Guineas - demonstrating a scintillating turn of foot to win by 3 ¾ lengths.

One race earlier, Thomas Chippendale became DANSILI's 100th individual blacktype performer with a victory in the King Edward VII Stakes, beating Juddmonte homebred and Frankel’s full-brother Noble Mission to give his trained Sir Henry Cecil a 1-2 in the Gr.2 race.

DANSILI's runners have performed with remarkable consistency throughout the Royal Ascot 2012 meeting. On Tuesday, Bated Breath ran a very close second in the King’s Stand Stakes Gr.1, whilst on Wednesday Classic-placed The Fugue performed admirably on ground not to her liking to take second in the Ribblesdale Stakes Gr.2. Yesterday meanwhile, Stipulate was runner-up in the Tercentenary Stakes Gr.3.

DANSILI finishes Royal Ascot 2012 as the leading sire by prize money.

After Fallen For You’s success, DANSILI is now the joint leading European sire in order of individual Group winners for the period 2010-12.
