Leading sire DANSILI continued his terrific roll of form over the weekend, achieving his fourth individual Gr.1 winner of the season.

Winsili's victory in the Nassau Stakes Gr.1 on the final day of Glorious Goodwood was the second consecutive win in the race for DANSILI, who was also responsible for last year's winner The Fugue.

Trained by John Gosden and ridden by William Buick, Winsili won a Listed race by 2¼ lengths at the beginning of the season before failing to stay the trip when fourth to Riposte (also by DANSILI) in the Ribblesdale Stakes Gr.2 at Royal Ascot. She will now be aimed towards the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf Gr.1, following a similar path to the three-time Nassau Stakes winner Midday (OASIS DREAM) who went on to win that race in 2009.

Winsili's dam, Winter Sunrise, has a yearling colt by OASIS DREAM, a filly foal by DANSILI and is currently in foal to DANSILI's full-brother Cacique.
