Gale Force Ten became the third winner of the Jersey Stakes Gr.3 in the last six years for the leading British-based sire OASIS DREAM on Wednesday (19th June).

The Aidan O’Brien trained colt was second in the Norfolk Stakes Gr.2 at Royal Ascot last year, as well as third in the Middle Park Stakes Gr.1, and on his seasonal reappearance this year gained his first stakes win in the Patton Stakes L. On his last outing he was second in the Irish 2000 Guineas Gr.1 at the Curragh.

Gale Force Ten’s part owner Michael Tabor said after the race: “We fancied him. He was drawn on the far side, which wasn't the ideal position, but we thought he might just be good enough anyway.
“Hopefully there is more to come.”

OASIS DREAM also enjoyed his first stakes winner as a broodmare sire yesterday when the two-year-old Extortionist won the Windsor Castle Stakes L.
