Taken from Thoroughbred Daily News, 16th April 2017:

Sibilance (BATED BREATH), a debut winner going six furlongs here in her only prior start, broke best to lead early and accepted a tow in second after the initial exchanges of this sophomore bow [in a Fillies' Conditions Stakes at Kempton].

Making smooth headway in the straight, the 6-1 chance was shaken up and quickened smartly to regain the initiative approaching the final eighth, running on strongly under continued urging to account for Raven's Lady (Raven's Pass) by 2¼ lengths.

The homebred grey is out of Lingfield Oaks Trial L. victress Santa Sophia (Linamix) and is a half to Godolphin Stakes L. third Testudo (Duke of Marmalade). Her second dam is the dual stakes winner and Gr.3 Park Stakes third Samara (Polish Patriot), herself a half-sister to four blacktype winners headed by Gr.2 German 2000 Guineas hero Soto-Grande (Kaiseradler).
