KEENELAND ALLOWANCE WIN FOR BROOKS HOUSE

by Ercel Ellis

April 11th at Keeneland, Brooks House, a daughter of MIZZEN MAST, squeezed through on the rail to win a 1 mile $78,000 allowance test over turf besting 10 other fillies and mares. Brooks House shipped in from Sam Houston where she had finished a closing second, beaten a neck, in the Jersey Lily Stakes in her previous start.

Owned by Millennium Farms, bred by St. George Farm and trained by Steve Asmussen, Brooks House was sold for $100,000 as a weanling at Keeneland, and her score at Keeneland boosted her earnings to $186,785. She is a

half-sister to the stakes winner Majestic Pride, and her dam, Blush On Cue (Theatrical), has an unnamed yearling by MIZZEN MAST.
