SEVEN FIGURE KINGMAN AT TATTERSALLS BOOK 1

A KINGMAN colt joined heady company as one of the five top lots sold on day one of Tattersalls October Book 1 sale yesterday (9th October). He was purchased for 1,050,000 by M V Magnier.

The colt out of Aga Khan-bred Shemya was pinhooked as a foal for 135,000gns by Michael Fitzpatrick and consigned by Kilminfoyle House Stud.

A KINGMAN filly out of Sea The Stars mare Seagull, a half-sister to 1000 Guineas winner Nightime, made 580,000gns when she was snapped up by Shadwell Estate Company. KINGMAN's average at the conclusion of day one is 510,833 for six sold.

The only BATED BREATH yearling to be offered in Book 1 made 140,000gns, selling to Rabbah Bloodstock. The filly from the family of James Garfield and Invincible Spirit was consigned by Norris Bloodstock .​

A DANSILI filly from the family of Neatico and Beautyandthebeast was another smart pinhook. Bought for 72,000gns as a foal last year by Peter and Ross Doyle, she realised 210,000gns yesterday when US agent Shawn Dugan brought the hammer down.​
