DANSILI FILLY MAKES 360,000GNS AT BOOK 2

The filly consigned by Stauffenberg Bloodstock was the second highest priced lot of the day. She was joined in the top five lots sold by a KINGMAN colt who realised 280,000gns

The daughter of DANSILI was bought by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock after a battle with agent Alastair Donald. Stroud said: "She is a very nice filly, very athletic," he added "It was more than we anticipated, but we were against a formidable rival and these really good fillies are proving as valuable, if not more valuable, than the colts. That was the trend last week in Ireland and again here. The two-year-old looks promising and this filly was very nice.”

Lot 975, a KINGMAN colt out of Group winner Bugie D'Amore, was purchased by Sackville Donald for 280,000gns. Alastair Donald said: “I think that the sire speaks for himself, he averaged highly last week. Both of this colt's siblings have achieved ratings of 90 or more and was a lovely individual. He was good looking and also well balanced.”

KINGMAN is currently the top Book 2 sire by average (243,571gns for seven sold).
