GOFFS UK PREMIER SALE CONCLUDES
The first Goffs UK Premier sale concluded yesterday with a new record in place, set by a £380,000 purchase on the first day. 2018 sale figures were the second-highest in the sale's history and boast a clearance rate of 89%.
An OASIS DREAM colt from the family of Twice Over made £150,000 when he headed the Hong Kong Jockey Club's list of purchases for the day. Consignor Jenny Norris said: "He's taken it all in his stride and has behaved impeccably ever
since he arrived on the sales ground."
An Oakgrove Stud-consigned filly by BATED BREATH realised £75,000 guineas yesterday when selling to Oliver St Lawrence. She became BATED BREATH's most expensive yearling sold in this year's renewal of the sale, topping the previous high of £60,000 for a colt out of Movementneverlies purchased by Sackville Donald the day before.
