FRANKEL FILLY MAKES €500,000 AT GOFFS ORBY
The yearling, a half-sister to Derby Gr.1 runner up Broome, was bought by Shadwell Estate Company from consignors Croom House Stud.
The FRANKEL filly, who sold on the first day of the sale, was one of eight horses that made €500,000 or more. Frankel's yearling average so far this year is £398,339 for 12 sold.
A stunning OASIS DREAM colt out of a half-sister to Maid's Causeway, Uimhir A Haon, made €350,000 when he sold to the buying team from the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
KINGMAN posted another set of strong results for the sale with a filly and a colt selling for €340,000 and €260,000 respectively. Form Bloodstock from South African made their biggest
purchase at this year’s sale when paying €340,000 for the daughter of Golden Reign - a half-sister to multiple Gr.1 winner Golden Horn. The KINGMAN colt from the family of European Champion Three-year-old Stayer Order Of St George sold to Peter and Ross Doyle on behalf of Norwegians Stall Perlen and Wido Neuroth.
