STRONG ARQANA BREEZE UP FOR KINGMAN
The Arqana Breeze Up saw three KINGMAN lots make the top ten list this Saturday (11th May).
Lot 6, a half-sister to multiple Group winner Rizeena, was highest priced filly sold when Anthony Stroud bid €800,000 to secure her for Godolphin. Stroud said: "She's a very attractive filly and she did a good breeze. Kingman is doing fantastically well and she ticks all the boxes."
KINGMAN was the sire of another of the sale's leading lots when Charlie Gordon-Watson went to €650,000 for the filly out of blacktype producer Extricate. "She's very athletic and breezed well," said Gordon-Watson. "I love the stallion and I think he will be one of the best ever. She's out of an Exceed And Excel mare and is a sweet filly with a great temperament. Everything is in the right place and the trainer, Andre Fabre, particularly liked her. He'll be training her."
