Group 1 glory for Frankel in Australia

Frankel enjoyed a fantastic day Down Under on Saturday (3rd October), with Mirage Dancer winning Gr.1 The Metropolitan at Randwick to become his 11th Group 1 winner, as well as Hungry Heart running second in the Gr.1 Flight Stakes and Finche third in the Gr.1 Turnbull Stakes.

Juddmonte-bred Mirage Dancer - one of four winners out of the Gr.1 winner Heat Haze - was sold privately in 2019. The entire is trained by Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young for a syndicate of owners, and will be aimed at the Caulfield Cup Gr.1 and the Melbourne Cup Gr.1.
