New stakes winner for Oasis Dream

French-trained Cloud Surfing won the Listed Schloss Roland-Stutenpreis at Dusseldorf yesterday by a four-and-three-quarter-length winning margin.

François Rohaut’s triple French winner Cloud Surfing produced an impressive win the in the 1400m Schloss Roland-Stutenpreis Listed race at Düsseldorf yesterday.

The four-year-old daughter of Oasis Dream raced in mid division on the outer in the early stages before running on to take up the lead and up the pace in the back straight. Opening up in full command from the turn for home she produced an impressive win unchallenged by four and three-quarter lengths. Godolphin’s Light Blush headed the remainder of the field in second, while Belle Anglaise was a further length back in third.

Owned and bred by Al Asayl Bloodstock Ltd, she is the first blacktype winner out of the unplaced Hasten, who is a full-sister to the Critérium International Gr.1 hero and sire Jan Vermeer. She is also a half-sister to the Gr.1 heroine and dual Classic-placed Together, dam of the Gr.2-placed Earring and Listed-placed Battle Of Jericho.
