Two winners for Bated Breath

Bated Breath notched up two exciting winners yesterday (8th July) with the maiden victory of Deep Snow at Ripon and two-year-old Cairn Gorm making it two from two at Newbury.

Three-year-old Deep Snow went off the evens favourite and duly delivered to win comfortably by a length. The Godolphin-owned filly was bred by Lofts Hall Stud and Ben Sangster, and sold for 80,000gns at Tattersalls Book 2 in 2018. Her dam, Listed-winner Polar Circle, has also produced Gr.3 winner Arctic Sound, and has a Bated Breath yearling filly.

Two-year-old Cairn Gorm also started favourite, off the back of his impressive debut win at Windsor on 22nd June. Owned and bred by Hunscote Stud, the Mick Channon-trained colt made virtually all the running to win gamely.
