FRANKEL-KINGMAN ONE-TWO AT SAINT-CLOUD
Three-year-old FRANKEL colt Hurricane Cloud registered a promising debut win at Saint-Cloud yesterday (12th May) with KINGMAN colt Westeros runner-up.
Taken from European Bloodstock News, 13th May 2020:
The two colts lined up in the Prix Kashmir II with 11 other colts and geldings. Westeros went to the front down the home straight, but the patiently-ridden Hurricane Cloud found a gap against the rail and, finally getting into top gear, raced into the lead in the closing stages and beat him by a length and a quarter.
A Guy Pariente homebred, Hurricane Cloud is a half-brother to Goken, a dual Group winner and Gr.1-placed son of Kendargent who now stands at Haras de Colleville. Hurricane Cloud himself holds entries in the Gr.1 Prix du
Jockey Club and Gr.1 Grand Prix de Paris.
